fitness, and weight management goals. You'll get started quickly
with the clear tutorial that walks you through the basic and
advanced features. Then set up your physical profile with your
current weight, measurements, fitness parameters, and goals.
The program
lets you record your nutrient intake easily by picking from a
detailed database of more than 10,000 foods in the registered
version. You see the balance of protein, fats, carbos, and other
nutrients in easy-to-understand color-coded graphics. There is a
recipe keeper, menu planner, and a comparison module to fairly
balance one food against another. The Calorie Balancer gives you
a runing total of calories over the last seven days so you
always know if you're ahead or behind on consumption. You also
get to record your exercise and graph progess in terms of a
variety of parameters. The help is detailed so you'll be able to
take advantage of the many powerful features.
The demo lets
you use the program 20 times and only included 300 foods in the

I'm impressed, never before has so much hard-work been
put into a diet program. I'm impressed! HealthKeeper
Performance Diet is a super comprehensive program for
monitoring what you should and shouldn't be eating in
order to lost weight. It has several different built-in
diets so you can choose the one that best suits you, as
well as a full range of monitoring programs to keep an
eye on your progress. Of course, just like in the real
world you can only lose weight with constant effort and
fitness, as well as a strict diet! HealthKeeper
Performance Diet is a great program for anyone looking
to lose a little weight!

Health-RunR
is a sophisticated program to manage nutrition, exercise and
physical therapy under many conditions, ranging from a simple
diet to fitness, to competitive sports, to rehabilitation, to
many diseases and special conditions, such as pregnancy, for
example. Too many are the program's options to be listed in so
small space; Health-Runr works divided in many features. The
Diet and Nutrition feature is able to create any personal
diet, for example, caloric and nutritional, showing
graphically the impact (positive or negative) of any food
choice. You can add to the 10000-plus food database any new
food you want. And this is only a small sample of the zillion
options this feature offers. The Exercise feature offers a
calorie burn-off calculation for lifestyle, body fat
percentage calculation, and so on. In the Medical section you
can record and graph lab tests, such as blood glucose, blood
pressure, cholesterol, etc. Even if Health-Runr is so huge and
overwhelming, it is surprisingly friendly to use, thanks to
the great Help program (it fits better than "file"),
and to the many explanations accompanying every pointing of
mouse.

like abundant statistics, HealthRunR is a powerful helper
in reaching your goals."
The
cornerstone of HealthRunR's effectiveness is the program's
focus on food as fuel -- not as an emotional, feel-good thing
-- that can help or harm you, depending on how you use it. You
can create a health and fitness plan based on your needs,
lifestyle, diet, and medical conditions. And this plan can be
fine-tuned as you progress. Configuring the program to work
with your vital statistics is easy with dialogs, radio
buttons, and check boxes to enter information about yourself.
Helpful explanations of each item you're entering make clear
the differences between being slightly active and moderately
active, for instance, so you're able to make well-informed
choices on the items you enter. Among the items you'll need to
be prepared to divulge are your age, height, weight, activity
level, target weight, and -- horror of horrors -- body
measurements. Secure the assistance of a non-judgemental
friend for this part. The program will roughly calculate your
body-fat percentage -- it's fairly accurate, but keep in mind
that even the most accurate methods of measuring body fat can
be up to 5 percent off the mark in either direction.
Once entered,
your information is used to generate a nutritional plan that's
based on generally-accepted guidelines of healthful eating,
including nutrients you may need to ingest as supplements --
especially if your current eating plan is highly restricted or
specialized, as it would be if you're a vegetarian, vegan,
diabetic, or sodium-restricted. Everything you eat as the day
progresses can be tracked using a drag-and-drop interface that
gives you instant feedback on the positive and negative effects
of the food you're consuming. You can even track vitamin and
herb intake, as well as coffee, tea, and alcohol consumption.
This dietary plan is then integrated with your exercise log,
where you can record any activity you're using for weight loss,
rehabilitation, or sports performance. Perhaps it's my 15 years
as a fitness instructor coming out, but I'm particularly
impressed with the detail and abundance of information in the
exercise portion of HealthRunR -- you can view the
calorie-burning rates of any activity you do, and get a much
clearer picture of the benefits of your exercise.
Since even the
most detailed plan won't cook the meals for you, HealthRunR
includes meal planning, recipe recording, and shopping lists to
help you cook the healthful meals it recommends. You can heed
advice from popular dietary programs, too, and keep your eating
on an even keel with a seven-day trend view that shows how many
calorie credits or debits you have. The best recommendation I
can give HealthRunR is that in the two weeks I used the program
to monitor my nutrition and exercise, I lost six pounds --
statistics, schmatistics, that's the icing on the cake...
Once you're
past the enormous download, you'll have a full 30 days to
evaluate HealthRunR and decide if you're endeared to or scared
by its plethora of details and statistics. I'm seriously
endeared, so watch out New York Marathon -- here I come (in a
newly svelte and healthy state)!

RunR is a powerful application designed to track the performance
of your diet and exercise program. Overall, it will help you
meet each of your fitness, nutritional and wellness goals. The
program works by intuitively customizing itself to your given
personal data. Health RunR then covers virtually every aspect of
your program, from daily exercises to food intake. Its
feature-packed interface allows you to efficiently record and
analyze the information. In addition to its standard components,
you'll find concise and printable graphs for examining your
progress.
Health
RunR's comprehensive nutritional features perfectly complement
any diet. In fact, it includes a database of over 10,000 meals.
You'll be able to view and compare various nutritional values,
such as fat content and carbohydrates, so you can better follow
your diet. You'll also find a kitchen aide that provides helpful
recipes and nutritional information. You can then use a menu
planner for cooking or ordering healthful meals. There's even a
"calorie balancer," which lets you manage calorie
debits and credits over a seven-day period.
For
exercising, Health RunR helps you monitor performance and
specific calorie burn off rates. You can enter a range of
information for each session, including heart rate, distance,
weight, sets, repetitions and more.
Following
regimens is difficult. Fortunately, Health RunR provides both
the practical and motivational support to help you follow
through with a program. This shareware version is fully
functional, but restricts the number of times you can use the
program. It also limits the meal database.
